Emily Wood: Visiting the Familiar. Emily Wood finds solace in re-visiting places most known to her, seeking some sense of normalcy during the past year and a half. The hills of the Palouse, shores of the Oregon coast, and snowy foothills of the North Cascades provide rich subject matter for the artist, which she finds warmly familiar and continuously inspiring. Harris Harvey Gallery, the new name for Lisa Harris Gallery, features paintings, prints, photographs and sculpture by contemporary West Coast artists. After 32 years in its loft space in the Pike Place Market, the gallery has moved to a nearby street-level location on First Avenue in Downtown Seattle.
