Apr 11-May 4 April Coppini: Liferaft. The artist’s latest collection of dramatic drawings pay homage to the small things around her that offer refuge from the uncertainties of life. Presented in the South Gallery. Janie Lowe: Messengers Between Worlds is a new collection of oil paintings from a classical still-life approach, bringing rich and luminescent color, depicting hummingbirds as metaphor of connection to afterlife. Opening May 9 Jo Hamilton: Groundswell presents crocheted, large scale fantastical compositions as cityscapes and figurative works, created from the artist’s studio in Portland, Oregon. Her remarkable “paintings” have gained the attention of collectors and curators around the world.
