Weaving Cultural Identities in partnership with Vancouver Sculpture Biennale. A collaboration of 10 woven prayer rugs exploring reconciliation, multicultural identity, and intercultural relations through traditional weaving as a storytelling medium.
Beverley Reid: Homage to a Rock. This textile sculpture is a meditation paying homage to a stone which defined the development of her beloved rock garden.
Kristen Roos: Jacquard Weaving, Macintosh Plus Designs. Roos is a Vancouver-based artist and educator whose practice includes sound, site-specific installation, photography, animation, printmaking, textiles, and media archaeology.
Penticton: A Progression in Time, Artwork by Penticton Photography Club and Penticton Quilters Guild-Artsy Girls. These artists joined forces to create an exhibition featuring 11 prominent Penticton and area landmarks.
The Penticton Art Gallery displays contemporary and historic art of regional, provincial and national significance.
