A Practice in Gestures draws together works by six artists living and working in BC–Farheen HaQ, Deborah Koenker, Bev Koski, Mitra Mahmoodi, Bettina Matzkuhn, and Barbara Zeigler. Their divergent works share a vocabulary of simple gestures rooted in domestic familiarity that give shape to meaningful rituals and practices while confronting colonial and patriarchal narratives as well as critical environmental imperatives.

Dec 3-Jan 2
ArtRich21 The Gallery in partnership with Richmond Arts Coalition (RAC) presents the fourth bi-annual, juried exhibition for local artists. It provides an opportunity for emerging and established artists to exhibit together and celebrate local talent.

Opening Jan 22
features works by poet and essayist, Chinese-American Jane Wong, and Taiwanese-Canadian artists, Mizzonk|Wan-Yi Lin and Roger Chen.
