The New Gallery (TNG) is an artist-run centre located in Mohkinstsis, also known as Calgary, on the ancestral and traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. Please see our website for updated exhibition information.

To Nov 20 Braids in the Front / Braids in the Back is a text-based work by Annie Wong, modelled after Chinatown storefront signs. The work reflects on an obscure history of mutual aid and relationships between the Chinese and Indigenous communities on Treaty 7 territory. Curated by Su Ying Strang. This exhibition is on view at Billboard 208, a programming site situated on the exterior storefront of The New Gallery.
